Digital Content Administrator

Job Description

Jasco is looking for a Digital Content Administrator to support the Digital Marketing Team. This position will be responsible for developing and updating content used by our retail and wholesale customers to populate their websites and inventory systems. They must utilize SEO guidelines to ensure optimization of the content within each product page and become expert at the various portals for each retailer to upload content in the most efficient manner.

Some specific duties will include:

• Optimize SEO when developing and updating web content
• Develop relationships with retail support services to speed product availability in the marketplace and accuracy of product content
• Develop, monitor, write, edit, proofread and update top-level products content contained on Jasco’s website as well as other e-commerce properties
• Works with product management, sales, graphics and video department to provide up-to-date content across all e-commerce platforms
• Cultivates standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing
• Ensures that all content is in compliance with each brand’s unique identity and consistent with the brand’s style, quality and tone of voice
• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices, including link strategy, keyword strategy and web content optimization for search engines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in the field of journalism, communications, English or similar area of studies
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and fact-checking skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
