
Our Story
Since 1975 when our founder, Steve Trice, started Jasco, our mission has been to serve others by continually exceeding customer expectations and reinventing product categories with innovations that enhance people’s lives and give back to the world.
While providing our retail and online partners far-reaching product assortments, we use our commitment to design, research and development to bring to market a steady flow of product innovations in home automation, lighting, home entertainment, power and mobility products under powerful brands.
With every product that is sold, we aim to help make a difference in people's lives and that doesn't stop at checkout. As a company, we are blessed to donate 50% of net profits from Jasco's brands* to ministries and charities, an initiative that started over two decades ago and has only continued to grow.
Now under the leadership of Steve's sons, Jason and Cameron Trice, together with our family of team members at Jasco, our hope is to create meaningful, lasting relationships with our customers, who know that every purchase makes a difference in someone’s life.

1975
Jasco Is Born
Founded by Steve Trice on July 15th, Jasco began as a division of Trice Wholesale Electronics in a 1,400 sq. ft. space, initially marketing CB radio accessories. This humble start laid the groundwork for the company’s future growth and innovation.

1977
Jasco Becomes Independent After Early Wins
After landing some initial customers including the then 50-store Target and 50-store Walmart chain, Steve purchases Jasco from Trice Electronics and Jasco becomes an independent business.

1983
Jasco Breaks Ground
As the business grows, Jasco finds itself in need of more space. Jasco breaks ground on a 40,000 sq. ft. office and warehouse in O9klahoma City, just down the street from our current location.

1994
Jasco's First Brand Deals with Emerson and Bell
Jasco licenses the Emerson brand for audio-video accessories and the Bell brand for phone accessories. This was Jasco's first venture into brand partnerships that would ultimately become a hallmark of the company and help create a competitive advantage.

1998
Jasco Launches Long-Term GE Brand Partnership
Jasco licenses the GE brand for consumer electronics, consolidating audio-video products and phone accessories under one premiere national brand. This was the start of a successful long-term brand partnership with General Electric.

2004
Jasco Expands with New Headquarters and Major GE Acquisition
Jasco purchases a 60-acre property featuring a 40,000 sq. ft. distribution center and office space to support rapid business growth, establishing its new headquarters. The company also acquires GE’s Home Electrical Products division. This acquisition extends the GE brand license to 15 new product categories and more than doubles Jasco’s size overnight.

2008
Jasco Expands Headquarters After Years of Strong Growth
Based on multiple years of double-digit business growth, Jasco breaks ground on a expansion of its corporate headquarters, adding over 17,000 sq. ft. in both office and distribution center space on this campus.

2009
Jasco Launches Projectables, a Breakthrough in Nightlight Innovation
Jasco develops and launches Projectables, a groundbreaking nightlight technology featuring beloved animated characters through partnerships with Disney, Pixar, Marvel, DC Comics, and Nickelodeon. From 2010–2012 and beyond, Projectables grew rapidly and are now sold in virtually every major U.S. retailer.

2015
Jasco Launches Enbrighten Brand
Jasco launches Enbrighten as an independent brand with premium, shatterproof LED café lights designed for year-round use. The line quickly expands to include color-changing and landscape lights, eventually growing into a full range of high-end LED lighting products like linear fixtures, pucks, and lanterns.

2016
Jasco Expands Portfolio with Philips and Energizer License
Jasco licenses major brands Philips and Energizer, expanding its portfolio with products ranging from consumer electronics to LED lighting. These partnerships diversify offerings and create opportunities for customer differentiation and channel segmentation.

2017
Jasco Rolls Out Strategic E-Commerce Growth Initiative
Jasco launched a strategic e-commerce growth initiative focused on strengthening its digital footprint and meeting the rising demands of online consumers. This effort included optimizing product content, improving digital merchandising, and expanding its presence across major retailer websites.

2020
Jasco Champions Charity with 'Give Your Way' Initiative
Jasco launches the "Give Your Way" campaign across all its owned brands, making a bold and transparent commitment to donate 50% of company profits to charitable causes. This initiative not only reinforces Jasco’s long-standing mission of giving back but also empowers customers by allowing them to help choose which charities receive support.

2022
Jasco Enters Warehouse Automation
Jasco opens a $40 million state-of-the-art automated distribution center to boost scalability, delivery efficiency, and maintain its competitive edge. Designed with employees in mind, the facility enhances safety, reduces physical strain, and offers opportunities for skill development and growth.

2023
JascoPro Brand Launches in Wholesale Channels
Jasco launches its new brand, JascoPro, as a key focus to winning in the wholesale, builder and contractor channels. These custom-crafted product solutions are professional-grade quality designed to enhance aesthetics within and outside the home.

2025
Jasco Launches Strauto Brand
Jasco launches Strauto, a new brand focused on the automotive and travel industries as part of its diversification strategy. Strauto offers reliable products for life on the go while supporting Jasco’s mission to donate 50% of profits to charitable causes.
