JASCO is providing notice of its battery-embedded products subject to the electronic waste recycling requirements in California.
Manufacturers are required to inform their retailers of covered battery-embedded products pursuant to California’s Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003, as amended by Senate Bill (SB) 1215. Covered battery-embedded products, defined in Section 42463 (f)(1), are subject to a waste recycling fee under Section 42464(b) which retailers are responsible for collecting at sale.
