When paired with a compatible hub, the hardwired smart switch operates lights, fans and other fixtures through individual commands and programmed settings. QuickFit and SimpleWire technologies support easy DIY installation. Patented auto-detecting line/load terminals eliminate wiring guesswork while dual ground connections allow daisy chaining. A reduced housing depth and lack of break-off tabs conveniently fit crowded electrical boxes. It supports up to four Enbrighten add-on switches for full function from all locations or one traditional three-way switch for ON/OFF operation.
Z-Wave Plus Long Range is ideal for smart homes, condos or townhomes and an optimal wireless solution for long-range, high-performance, low-power applications. Elite security protects connected products, data, IP and users. Based on your gateway’s capabilities, the switch supports Z-Wave LR and Z-Wave Classic inclusion. It connects to the hub up to 1,300ft. (400m) using Z-Wave Plus Long Range. Z-Wave LR also penetrates walls, which effectively reduces interference. If paired as Z-Wave Classic, the smart switch is backward compatible with all generations and extends the range of your mesh network by up to 150ft.
